Metrography International Photo Festival Opens In Iraq

The Metrography photo festival is an annual event with Iraqi and international photographers exhibiting at more than 10 venues throughout Erbil, Sulaymania and Kirkuk. Iraqi photographers will represent all governorates of Iraq, from Zakho to Basra. During this weeklong event, series of debates, workshops and other outreach activities will take place.

 

Metrography’s mission is to establish a thriving photography and photojournalism industry in Iraq that breaks down ethnic, cultural, and religious barriers.

 

In Sulaimaniya –Amna Suraka Museum
